What Price Will You Pay?

Posted by Dr. Siemers, May 4th , 2009.

“If I have learned anything in long years of introspection, it is that life requires a price if you want to be as fully alive as you can be.  You need courage to pursue the truth of your life and yourself.”  Eda J. LeShan

Every day I’m reminded of the truth of this quote; whether through the lives of practice members or my own, there’s no such thing as a free lunch. We will or will not achieve health depending on what actions we will or will not take, it’s just that simple.  Everything has a price and when you don’t want to pay it one way you’ll pay it another.  If actively creating peace, exercising daily, getting proper rest, maintaining a deliberate and positive focus, eating nourishing foods, drinking life giving water and maintaining a clear neurological connection appear as to steep a price to pay for health, one should expect he will then pay instead with health crisis after health crisis that only get worse with time. The irony in all this is that it’s far easier to live a healthy life than it is an unhealthy one because health is our natural state.  Take a step toward health, then another, one at a time until it’s just the life your living.

Decide To Be Healthy!

Posted by Dr. Siemers, March 10th , 2009.

“If you keep postponing a decision, your indecision becomes your only decision.” Unknown

Billions of dollars are spent every year on health clubs, organic foods, vitamins, bottled water and many other healthy habits but as a whole there are very few who truly experience the kind of health that is possible.  In more than ten years of serving in health care, I have come to believe that the answer lies not only in misinformation but to a greater degree, our motives.  I find day in and day out that most of us have not decided to experience health rather we are striving to “not be sick”.   You see, you can’t escape what you are giving your attention to and when you get flu shots to avoid the flu or take aspirin daily to avoid heart disease your attention is not on health, it’s on the flu and heart disease.  Just look at the proof, our country rates 37 out of 39 industrialized nations and yet nobody spends more money than we do on “health care.”   To decide is to cut off and rule out all other possibilities.  To decide, however unconsciously, to “not be sick” is to postpone the decision to be healthy and be frustrated to no end that your efforts never seem to produce the health you desire.  To learn how to attain health, see our workshop schedule and give your attention to what’s possible, not what the world says you should fear.

Quality Copies… Quality Health?

Posted by Dr. Siemers, March 6th , 2009.

“98% of the atoms in your body were not there a year ago.” Deepak Chopra M.D.

This is an extremely profound quote when you think about its implications. The various parts of your body are constantly regenerating new cells to replace old cells as the cycle of life rolls on.  Some cells, like the liver cells that detoxify your body, regenerate much faster than the cells of your bones. As a result, the entire body takes roughly 13 months to completely rebuild itself. That’s right; at any given moment you are no more than 13 months old.  Why then does our body seem to degenerate with time?

Consider this process of cell replication like using a copy machine with one rule; you have to use each copy to make the next copy rather than have access to the original.  When you place the original in the copy machine, your first copy is the best copy, but from that point on each new cell or page is made using the previous copy.  As you might guess then, the copies begins to fade and blur making it more and more difficult with time to produce good quality copies.  This then places a tremendous importance on using good quality material and an active maintenance program to care for your copy machine. The quality of the ink and paper, whether you maintain the machine at its most efficient level and your commitment to keeping a clear and steady supply of electricity running to the machine all affect the final product.  Not only that, in the case of your body, the worse the quality of the material you use and the more you abuse the machine, the faster the copy machine works.  The goal then is to use the best nutrition and maintain your body’s ability to function at its optimal level if you want not only to slow the aging process down but produce the healthiest happiest you possible.  Should you ever have questions about health and healing, please don’t hesitate to ask or join us at our weekly workshops.

Beliefs Create Circumstances

Posted by Dr. Siemers, February 24th , 2009.

”We do not struggle with circumstances.  We hold onto beliefs that create circumstances.” Ernest Holmes

The overwhelming majority of us are brainwashed to believe that health and illness come from the outside. This belief, as with all beliefs, determines our actions.  Whether you have symptoms of a cold or of cancer, to believe that it comes from the outside is to then look to the outside for help.  In this country alone we consume 36,000 pills per hour to relieve our symptoms and the consequence is medicine has become the leading cause of death in this country.  As more and more people turn to “alternatives” to medicine, without a change in their beliefs, we now spend more money on bottled water, health foods, vitamins, and health clubs than ever before with the same result.  Whether you’re taking prescription medication or over the counter vitamins, popping pills without a change in belief will still lead to the same outcome.  Join us each week as we answer the fundamental questions of where does health come from and how can we achieve it as the natural of expression of a clear neurological connection.

Are We Playing Russian Roulette With Our Health?

Posted by Dr. Siemers, February 18th , 2009.

“The only safe vaccine is one that is never used.” Dr. James R. Shannon, former director of the National Institute of Health.

Should we ever desire to see a dramatic improvement in the health of this nation, this is a great place to start.  There’s still no proof that vaccinations work while evidence of an overwhelming nature continues to mount making the toxic vaccination soup of aluminum, mercury, formaldehyde and foreign cell proteins injected into our kids every day a primary cause of everything from SIDS to Autism and Alzheimers to Cancer.  There’s no better time to become informed than now… your kids are banking on it.

“Children Who Produce Higher Fevers Are Healthier”

Posted by Dr. Siemers, February 16th , 2009.

“Children who produce higher fevers, strong rashes and good discharges of mucus and pus, are healthier and more robust and have stronger immune systems than children who produce a low intensity of these symptoms.  These robust children vigorously externalized and healed their infections spontaneously, often without antibiotics; they had had little or no antibiotics, antipyretics or vaccinations in their lives.  The children who had had all their vaccinations, lots of antipyretics and antibiotics – a lot of suppressive, internalizing medical treatments, these children never got high fevers and were the ones who were more likely to have allergies and autoimmune problems.” (13)

A fever is designed to serve the body and indicates a healthy robust immune and nervous system. Don’t let the fear mongers convince you that your child’s body is weak and in need of outside intervention nor that your instincts don’t matter.  Most parents I serve have a sense of what is good for their child and simply need reassurance given all that they hear on television.  The power that made their body heals their body!  Trust it!

Subluxation… Bad Phone or Bad Connection?

Posted by Dr. Siemers, February 11th , 2009.

”Subluxations can reduce nerve impulses by 60%” Chung Ha Suh Ph.D. Univ. of Colorado

What would communicating with others be like if 60% of each and every conversation on the cell phone could not be heard or understood?  I imagine most of us would become quit frustrated and complain to the cell phone companies if not outright fire them while we look to hire one we can rely on.  With your body, it’s not so easy.  If you ignore the problem or misdiagnose it as static’itis’, it will only get worse and there’s no tossing the phone or firing the company…. You’re it!  Poor communication affects everything you do and everyone you know.  Get checked for subluxation and know a clear neurological connection (health).

The Future is Now!

Posted by Dr. Siemers, February 7th , 2009.

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine but will interest the patient in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” Thomas Edison

How prophetic Mr. Edison was when he penned these words for there is no doctor more competent and devoted to the health of humanity than a chiropractor upholding the principles of his profession.
